HONORING WSU MOMS

Mom’s Weekend is a fun-packed tradition for families and friends of WSU students to honor their mothers and showcase their contributions to the University. This event boasts more than 100 exciting activities—ranging from concerts, athletic events, exhibits, special programs, and more— during the three-day celebration of our beloved moms.

A full calendar of events for the weekend can be found using the navigation to the left of this page. While Mom’s weekend is traditionally oriented towards mothers of WSU students, most events are open to the general public and other family members as well.

2017 I PERFORMANCE

AN EVENING WITH

BRIAN REGAN

Setting a comedic standard of excellence that others continually try to follow, Brian Regan made history on September 26, 2015, with the critically-acclaimed live broadcast of Brian Regan: Live From Radio City Music Hall, the first live broadcast of a stand-up special in Comedy Central’s history. And on May 8, 2015, Brian made his 28th and final stand-up performance on Late Show With David Letterman, the most of any comic since the show moved to CBS in 1993.

Brian is the unique comedian whose material is relatable to generations of fans and revered by comedians as the best in the business. Earlier this year Brian made a scene-stealing cameo in Chris Rock’s film, Top Five and he was seen in Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. But it is stand-up comedy that is Brian’s focus, visiting close to 100 cities each year and selling out some of the most beautiful venues on the continent. Brian returned to the legendary, 8,600-seat Red Rocks Amphitheater on September 5, 2015, and on March 18 & 19 he will return to the 12,500-seat Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City where he sold out two shows in 2014.
